Spambox is hard to talk in w/ 5 people at once, so yeah.

Chamillionaire - Good Morning is fucking awesome.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rE9BuK-3PAc

Lil' Wayne, he's a fag, only a handful of he songs are good, which are the ones that feat. other people.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36owbKQVdvM

Eminem, Beautiful is awesome, too. As KOW says, it's emo / sad at the start. But that's the aim of the song.

Those are pretty interesting mashups Red, I subscribed to your vids, you said you were a DJ?

Okay for those who haven't heard Kid Cudi he is a new rapper, his music is pretty damn cool, it's a little bit different but it's fucking amazing, you have to listen to both his Album The Man on the Moon and his Mixtape (which you can't find in stores but you can else where *wink wink*)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkSq2Zn2XoY - This is Day N' Nite, one of his most popular songs although it's not my favorite and look in the description for something *wink wink*

This is Soundtrack 2 My Life which is one of my favorites

Not officially. Like I do it for the fun of it rather than the cash. This summer on a cruise to Spain, Italy, and France, I got to DJ for a couple of parties they had on the ship, which was pretty cool. Sometimes I do parties for friends, but by no means am I a fully-talented DJ.

i love all three of the artists youve mentioned, though i believe all of their combined best works are behind each of the three. i hate what rap has turned into recently with dance songs heading the charge (lack of lyrical content). it oversaturated the game with alot of dudes that cant rap, and just in it for the money. ive been anti-souljaboi (call me a hater i dont care) and a lot of these new rappers because outside of the one dance move that made them popular, they have nothing

well if you take a closer look, from about 95 to about 04 most of the top selling artists come from a genre called "conscious rap". i hate that title, because it usually scares away people because people tend to relate it to christian rap, which is a totally diffrent beast in itself. but these artists like OutKast, Common, Mos Def, Nas, The Fugees, Kanye West are the big names to mention. i dont know how it happened but these guys got less and less popular as time went on and rap today has been dying since. Nearly all of them had a strangle hold on the top charts but now they pursue other areas like movies (andre 3k from outkast has a little cartoon and has been in numerous movies. common has been in a couple of movies himself) or they straight up quit. this really sucks because rap now is sorta the laughing stock of the music industry

I understand exactly what you mean, and I agree. Kanye and Nas were at the forefront of this. It was about the rap, real problems, and even some humorous stuff like "Gold Digger". Nas wasn't too off when he wrote "Hip Hop Is Dead", because all the songs I hear today are about whose more ghetto than the last rapper. About how they think they're all tough and have more money than their competition. You're supposed to attract people with something they can feel, something they can relate to. Or at least that's how it was before. I can't listen to half the shit that comes out today. I actually prefer older stuff.

And what I also can't fucking stand is ordinary people with no vocal talent whatsoever using a vocoder and autotune to essentially "fix" their vocals. And then there are the people who only get somewhere by piggybacking off other people's raps. Yeah, I'm talking to you Lil' Wayne. Every. Fucking. Song i listen to just HAS to have Lil' Wayne in it. And Drake? Suddenly some actor from a tween show (Degrassi) thinks he can rap? Give me a break:

Last name ever, first name greatest, Like a sprained ankle boy, I ain't nothin' to play with
I can go on and on, but rap...No wait, music just isn't what it used to be. EVERY genre has been plagued with some form of Soulja Boy.

Yeah I love OutKast, I read that they were going to make an album for 2008 but it never happened. I love all of those artist, and you are right when everybody thinks rap they think ohh ganstas and weed and fucking prostitutes, it's sad really, rap used to be really cool, with the origonal lyrics and the interesting beats it was the shit, now most rap is just crap.
