Anyone know a reliable site to buy a pandora and magic memory stick kit from. I been waiting for my friend to put cUstom firmware on my psp but he is taking forever so I'm gonna do it myself.

i'm going to order my pandora battery tonight. If I have any problems installing custom firmware would you mind helping me out? Also which cfw is the best one to use on a psp phat. I think i'm running the latest ofw on the psp but have to double check when I get it back from my friend.

Sure, and the best cfw is whichever works best for you.

There's 5.00m33-6 and 5.50 Gen-D3.

You can search the forums for all of the other threads asking for comparisons.

5.50 Gen-D3 is the latest cfw though. To get to that, you use the Pandora + MMS to flash 5.00m33-4, then you download the 5.50 Gen-D3 updater, extract the 550.pbp file to the Root of your Ms(Where the PSP folder is located along with other folders) and merge the PSP folder with your current. Then you just run it like any other update.

Finally got my psp modded with custom firmware on it. I'm running 5.50 Gen-D2 on it and couldn't be any happier! Now I'm searching for a used psp to mod so I can have a backup!

Grossly overpriced. Not sure how the shipping is. Just as you quoted me, just buy the Pandora and make your MMS. Not difficult at all.
