i need some help with my wireless router. its an airlink 101 super g. i am trying to hook it up with my motorola modem. the router worked fine before but i guess the power got resetted or something and it stopped working. I turned it on and the power works. The status and wlan keep blinking though. I know this is a retarded question but where am i supposed to hook the blue ethernet cord from the router to the computer? Because the modems ethernet cord is plugged in the back of the desktop. please help

Generally, if you have DSL, the phone line should first go into the modem.
After that, there should be an ethernet cable running between the modem and the WLAN port (The one ethernet port separate from the others) on the router.

From there, you can choose any of the (4 is the usual on a router) ethernet ports to connect to your desktop or laptop via ethernet. If it doesn't work, you might have to do some setup in the actual router menu. Not sure what model you have, so I'm not entirely sure on that, but try going to 192.168.1.1 in a browser, and check if your router is responding. If there's a password, it might be in a manual somewhere.

Sometimes, it could be admin as username with no password. Something you should change asap btw.

One ethernet cable goes from your modem to your PC, the other ethernet cable goes from your modem to the WLAN on your wireless router.
