yep. i just did the downgrade using this link

    http://xtrusion.e-tecno.net/en/

i consider myself to be a reputable sounce and highly causious, so if u wanna downgrade, i give it my approval. mine was originally a 1.50, so please check your hardware before u do anything. strangly enough, i didnt need to wait a minute after the light stops blinking... it auto restarted on its own.

Same thing here. I bought it at 1.50, then upgraded to 2.6 a couple of months ago. I just downgraded to 1.5 last night.
Today has been the most beautiful day I've ever seen.

How long does it take from start to finish to do everything. I have a friend that is going to downgrade, but he has games that updates his firmware...so chances are he will have to constantly downgrade.

    August 2006 - DS homebrewed

about 5 minutes lol. u basically just download the exe from the link, which varies depending on connection speed, then u run it. plug your psp in and it will copy files to your memory card then u boot up GTA and the eloader will come up, pick the downgradertest option and it starts. takes a few minutes to do its think, mine auto restarted when it was done, so i dont know if everyones will do that, but just follow the onscreen instructions and youll be fine. just make sure your card is bigger then 32mb and u dont interupt the system once u initiate the downgrade. and please make sure you have the right hardware first to make sure u can actually downgrade it. easy

That is what Devhook is for. It lets you play any game that requires a higher firmware (up to 2.6).

its not wise to keep downgrading the firmware either. it could damage it

Good point...I didn't even think of Devhook because I never use it....that would be a better way for him to go...
