I am not bragging when I say this, but the worlds best garage bands started here in Cape Breton in "The House of Rock"(its gone now, but it was situated down the street from me.) Our very own Rock Ranger started here as a local band, and there phenominal, they do shows all around the world now and are constantly on tour. I'll get some of them and update my post, no offence but your locals arent very good dude, listen to my Locals, once I get them.

EDIT: This Bands Drummer Served my Chicken Parmasagn(sp?) last week in carrabas lol. Not my favorite choice of music but very good for what they do. Plus we all have mutual friends.

Kingwood's local band is 'Downfall 2012.'

One of them actually worked at the store I'm working at now...and so did his brother. Both are really cool guys. One of them was addicted to a lot of drugs, and his doctor said he was going to die if he didn't leave the city...so he did. He came back like two weeks ago, and while in Austin he had gained like 50 pounds (he is now 150) and looks great!

A bad case turned good, whoopiee!

I see you live in the Houston area, is Kingswood anywhere near Pearland?

I live in lakeland , about 25 minutes from tampa/st. pete. I just saw that the local bands you posted were from st. pete so I put 2 and 2 together lol.
