I know this is a PSP board, but I was wondering if anyone has sucesfully ran any programs on a DS.

I was looking into it and it is definately a lot more complex than running stuff on 1.5....but I may do it to see what it is like. There is a lot more to buy and figure out...lemme tell ya...

As soon as I saw the title, I knew it would degrade to a "ds sucks" thread.

I haven't played with the DS too much along the lines of Homebrew, but you're right in saying it is much more difficult. If I'm not mistaken, extra care must be had in flashing the new DS lites as the flash process can potentially blow fuses that will brick the unit. From what I understand the homebrew scene isn't too great, but playing backups is much easier.

    hombrew in ds is awful
    different programming
you need a lot of accesories
something to plug in the ds card slot
another thing to plug in the gba slot
an sd card to plug in the thnig plugged in the gba slot
any ds game plugged into the thing plugged in the ds card slot
an sd card reader with an sd card connected to a weird device connected to the sd port of the thing plugged in the gba slot

    TOTALLY NOT PORTABLE EXPENSIVE AWFUL

I am doing it...I just got my passme 1 in the mail today....thank god i got my ds around when they were released. Passme 1 = about $20, Passme 2 = $90

I am gonna do it and see how it goes....I heard the Hexen and Heretic use the touch screen,...that has me curious. I had a 1GB SD sitting around not being used...so I ordered the GBA MP for about $25.....and I'll see if I need anything else.

I know it is going to be a lot tougher and more messy than the PSP.

Why so many of the same system? U should sell some, and use the money for a comp upgrade, or somethin of the sort.
