I guess you mean acoutstic, slow, melodic, and/or instrumental stuff... so here are a bunch of song ideas.

    Artist, then song.
    Buckethead - Padmasana
    Buckethead - Hills of Eternity
System Of A Down - Roulette
Kansas - Dust In The Wind
    Alice In Chains - Nutshell
    Tool - Disposition
Scorpions - Send Me An Angel
Green Day - Macy's Day Parade
    Pink Floyd - Dogs
The Who - Behind Blue Eyes
    Jeff Buckley - Grace
Nirvana - Something In The Way
    DJ Shadow - Stem/Long Stem
Nobuo Uematsu - To Zanarkand (a piano song from Final Fantasy X)

Less specific stuff you can add...
Anything from Buckethead's Electric Tears or Colma CDs
    Final Fantasy VII music
    Precursors remixes http://www.medievalfuture.com/precursors/
Music from Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night (Playstation game)

punk does not equal emo. Pennywise, Rise Against, Rancid = Punk, not = emo.
