There are so many problems with this that it's just not funny...

    The dog needed a home. Ellen took the dog. Ellen's other pets didn't like the dog, so Ellen gave the dog to a friend... then this place practically stole the dog from them! What gives them the right to do that?

    I'm sure the pet adoption agency means well, but they seem to have some unnecessary regulations that need to be abolished. It shouldn't be their job to protect people from themselves. They should provide necessary information about the dog, but not do the kind of thing they resorted to this time.

    People have threatened the adoption agency now. I hope they don't follow through on those threats. I can understand that the agency is trying to uphold policy, but maybe they should reconsider what they did. This dog didn't come directly from them, the dog came from Ellen after she adopted it. Also, it's time for the adoption agency to change regulations... but I think I already said that.

    I agree, it's stupid for them to take it back and it's stupid for people to give them death threats.

    Give the dog back to the neighbors and get over with it.

    The girl couldn't have been very young, either. I saw her on TV and she looked like she was almost a teenager! I don't think a little dog poses a huge threat to a 11 year old (just guessing on her age) that loves the dog! Damn... stuff just makes no sense sometimes. O_o

    I'm not just sure, I'm H.I.V. Positive

    yeah, i saw this on ellens show a while back(yeah I watch it sometimes, fuck off*flies out crying*). the whole ordeal was just pointless, and the agency tried so hard to look like "good" people that they went as far as to take a dog from a loving family. Good thing, too, now some middle aged man with no kids can come adopt it and train him for dogfighting(yeah, I know they wouldn't use that kind of dog for fighting anyway, it's the principle here)! That's certainly a better outcome for the dog and the family.

    seriously, the fact that grown adult humans can be so mind-blowingly idiotic... it boggles my brain. -_-;
