Talledega nights is a movie. Its a comedy about racing and such. It has its moments and dim witted comedy, which is actually pretty apealing for the target audience. If your into nascar, or gay french men making out with each other, go see this movie. The acting is good, and overall its a decent comedy. Anchorman is better though.

I think this was a great movie, it just wasn't near as obsurd.
anchor man was funnier, becauseit made less sense, but talledaga nights was good.

I found a website recently that might help you plan with your future movie outings.

double feature finder: "Find local showtimes scheduled back-to-back and spend the entire day at the movies!"

    No shit?

It wasn't too bad, but it wasn't anywhere close to the brilliance of Anchorman or even The 40 Year Old Virgin (both done by the same team). The problem is that the movie tries to NOT insult the kind of people who watch and care about NASCAR. This is truly a shame as there is a plethora of material if they would only work the "white trash" aspect.

Even so, it's worth seeing. There are some laugh out loud moments (though look out for a boring middle) and it's the funniest thing in theaters right now.

Nascar is amazing, thats why they didnt want to make fun of the viewers, because they themselves thought too that nascar is the best. It's just below hockey.
