    proof:

I think that sony in part..kinda...supporting homebrew.
there is alot of homebrew applications that are the truly soul of the psp
almost the main reason of its existance, and when homebrew is developed, people gets interested, and sony doesnt has to waste time in development, copyrighting material, paying developers salary, whne programers out there do it for free.
the only thing sony has done are 2 fucken demos, wma support, web browser and flash player...
while homebrew has support to audio files in almost everyformat! avi support!
emulators! shell replacements! I R REMOTE! Vastly deep customization of the psp! dont you think that when we buy the psp, we buy all the contents it has and manipulate them freely?
or are we buying a console half-propertie of sony?

also...I have a friend who took his psp to sony for try getting some games and accesories (he bought standart pack, but wanted the headphones, and the other things) and the clerk, asked him for the psp and few minutes later my friend noticed that the guy prformed a 2.80 upgrade while my friend went there only for get some games...what can he do?

Your enemy stabs you in the front..."
"Your friend stabs you in the back..."
"Your boyfriend/girlfriend stabs you in the heart..."
"But me, your closest friend, carries a knife..."
"To stab those people right back..."

The other thread posted was talking about how sony linked pspupdates to thier website. This thread talks about how people are talking about homebrew in the forums which I didn't know, so I think that qualifies this thread as valid.
Thanks for posting this I didn't know not only they posted the link, but they are talking about it in the forums too. Something is coming a conspiracy.

Try bitching. I would be super pissed if someone updated my PSP without authorization, in which, I would demand payback in the form of any PSP with a version equal to or previous of the one he originally had. I'd kick some ass, get a couple free games, or something. It's probably too late now to worry anyway, he's gotta sit pretty and wait it out.
