would it improve security if ever the site would have one? how and how much will it cost to have one?

So our weefi here isn't secured and I run all traffic through SSL, I noticed this forum does not have it or rather it refuses the connection. Any chance this will be implemented at any point?

SSL is extremely important to running a site. It encrypts the connection from user to server so the data being sent is encrypted and cannot be intercepted between. Well in reality anything can be intercepted and cracked but you get what I mean. If you are running the server yourself OpenSSL is free or if you have a host you may just have to set it up.
The key thing is it keeps people from getting their logins and info sniffed out upon login at public locations. And if anyone is watching all data being sent is secure.
this is great. you go send our friend webtek a message.
I doubt we would implement SSL, but you can always check with webtek. Or just create a burner account that has no personal details and uses a useless password.

I could enable SSL on pspmod, it would require a few hours downtime & an IP change but it's not that hard or expensive.
However for forums and such there is never really any demand for it.
But if there is enough demand for it here then I will add it.
Or you can just use Tor?
