    how would i go about gettin my password from my router? i jus got a laptop and i need my pw to use the router. is there a way to obtain it without having to call someone. if i have to do that. thanks for the help if i get some

    are you talking about the admin password to the router to change the settings or a wep key?

    if you have linux just use a wep cracker...lol (possible but I doubt you're running linux

    retina wifi scanner is a windows based wifi troubleshooting app I use for work, it also has a built in wep brute forcer

    With most routers, you can use a null modem cable to connect the router to a computers serial port and do a forced reset which will reset all the router settings to factory default (including the password)
