if u got a dvd player in your comp, drop the movie in the drive and play it via windows media player, then get to the point that u wanna save and pause the movie. after, press the PRNT SCRN button and go into mspaint and go under EDIT and click PASTE. then just resize the pic

you can't use Print Screen Key to take a Snapshot from a Movie
Some Softwares, like InterVideo WinDVD8 have a Option that Called TAKE A SNAPSHOT
as Julie Said Pause your Movie and then Press Snapshot Key on Program and it will save you Selected Frame as JPG,BMP, ...

Download Trial Version of InterVideo WinDVD 8:

actually u can use print screen to capture screenshots, but not from a Movie or a Game, Print Screen a Movie and you'll see a Image like This >> http://i15.tinypic.com/42nu16t.jpg

Movie is Paused but you just see a Black Screen, because you can't Take a Snapshot form "Direct Media" or "DirectX" Applications

There are Special Applications for Record and Capture Frames from Games and Movies, Like FRAPS (www.FRAPS.com) that Capture Video & Pictures from Games

    I have another way...
I Always take screens from anime this way

1.pass the file to mp4, then put it into your psp
    2. load irshell, then go to the xmb (or any other screenshot module, like PspShot)
3.play the movie, then you take screens by pressing the [music note] button
