Well, I don't think it was that dumb to trade Allen for a draft pick because he is old and will be retireing in about 4-5 years. On other hand for a good rookie who they could keep for about 8-9 years is better. Still I dont' think they'll get someone better than allen. But the person that they do get will last longer. So its sortof a win-win situation.... |

i just came back from the miami heat draft party pretty cool. it would of been better if the lakers didnt kill it and chose Javaris Crittenton, and then we passed up on Gabe Pruitt a pg which we need, and chose Daequan Cook a sg
it was a pretty smart trade on both teams because the sonics are getting an expiring contract in wally for 11mil and are getting younger with jeff green, kevin durrant, and delonte west. and im waiting to see who they trade for rashard lewis hopefully he comes to miami.
and smart on boston's side because pierce said that he would demand a trade if he does not get another star on his team and he got that in ray allen |

first of all...wally scerbiaks contract is not expiring...and is huge
secondly, rashard lewis is a Free Agemt
Finally, your Miami heat need a center |

the heat are set at center with shaq, alonzo mourning most likely coming back
and with earl baron and we just drafted this 7-1 center stanko barac so were set
but we need a third scorer because d wade cant do it himself
and were gonna get lewis in a sign in trade

Yah I could care less about basketball as well... almost all of my friends are into it and they keep telling me i should try it out, especially living in a major NBA city... But i try to watch it on TV and i get bored about as quick as i would watching golf or tennis... now blernsball, there's a sport for men...

Miami would have to give up matching salary for a S&T Lewis. Lewis should get a deal in the $10-13 Mil/year range. I don't think Miami has any player or group of players Seattle would want. Maybe a S&T Kapono along with some other bit players to make the money work. I think Lewis will end up in Florida, but not in Miami. Orlando has the cap room (if they don't resign Darko) to sign Lewis straight up without needing to do a S&T with Seattle.
Dallas didn't have much to work with in the draft (3 2nd rounders) but I think they picked decent prospects. One guy they'll leave overseas for another year or two. |

He's not a big name, but he is a solid vetran PG. He's a great distributor but his 3 point shoot is awful. He would be a nice pick up for any team and could be had pretty cheaply I'd imagine. |
