theres an easy way just get photoshop and resize it and u can do wat eva u want after that like add text, animation and etc.

you can also use adobe and just press the button image size and change the values and youll see that the picture will be resized to whatever size you want....

you missed the point of this tutorial. its for people that dont have photoshop and wanna resize their pics with the tools provided in XP. not everyone has $400 for a program

a ok thanks for the tutorial mam just giving also option and actually even though im using adobe most of the times but still i use paint once in awhile coz this is where i learned my first step in designing themes for nokia symbian phones.....

if youre using photoshop, its as easy as going under "IMAGE" and selecting "IMAGE SIZE" and changing the value in "WIDTH". the "HEIGHT" value will change automatically.

i find it easier to do in mspaint since photoshop takes some time to load... and if youre resizing several pictures, such as for forum posting, then its easier to work in mspaint.

no julie u have to uncheck constrain porportions <--not right spelling
to prevent it changing automatically

i use pix-resizer. Its EXTREMELY simple, all it does is resize any photo or folder or photos to the new size its freeware so that makes it even better
