I am trying to play darkness online multiplayer and it keeps telling me that i have a nat type 3, and i cannot play unless i have a nat type 1 or 2. can anyone tell me how i do that.

Thats in your router settings. Look up the router documents online and you can find the answer on adjusting the NAT settings.

yeah you have to open porst on your router settings or what i did was enable DMZ in the router settings then put PS3's IP address in there witch opens the PS3 to the router so no port opening is needed. Just give your PS3 a custom IP like i did & you should then always be on NAT 2 after that.
