cfw for ps3?

im just wondering if eventually someone will be able to run cfw on a ps3, and put games on the internal HDD. i mean..there are USB ports right? and im sure that the ps3 wouldnt have a problem running any older consoles games...and how cool would it be to have halo 3 on your ps3 =p

Well, you could always install Linux on it and if Linux devs make an Xbox360 emulator, then it's all good.

Yeah, kinda figured that already. The PS3 would have to be much more powerful than it currently is for that to happen. But in the future, you never know. We'd probably have PCs powerful enough to run Xbox360 emulators. Problem is, the PS3 just won't be able to handle said emus.

why do you say it will NEVER happen? thats probly what everyone thought when the psp first came out, no? what if the ps3 and psp have similar coding, which would have made for easy cracking for the ps3 :0

and the ps3 is WAY more powerfull then the xbox 360 !! so it will be able to run xbox games, u just need to crak the ps3 first, lol

There will be no CFW for PS3 anytime soon. There isnt even a hello world for it yet let alone an emu other than running it through linux.

(off topic) I did manage to get IMBNES nes emulator for ps1/ps2 running in gameos not otheros with a swap switch I made.
