It runs windows awesomely, and I never get below 60 fps in CSS. (settings @ max)
However...
Heat from MBP= FAIL.

Dell XPS m1710 laptop bought off ebay for fairly cheap. Duelboot vista pro 32bit or xp pro. Few upgrades.
2ghz core2duo, 4gb corsair ram (upgrade), 200gb 7200rpm hdd (upgrade)
7950 GTX 512 graphics card. 17" 1920/1200 native resolution super duper shiny screen (forget what it was, like QSUXGA+ or something)
Cut a normal copper DDR2 memory heatspreader in half, and drilled holes in it for air flow, and added it to my ram. Ram used to hit 80C when playing games, would cause instability in F.E.A.R after awahile. Comp still doubles as a space heater when playing, but the ram stays within 6C of everything else now.
Plays oblivion and bioshock max resolution max settings high fps, have to cut fear down to 1600/something to keep above 40 fps constant.

I'm not going to link it, but if you're interested, search for me on ebay under this same name :P Admins, let me know if I should and I'll remove this section of the post!

It's ok to post to a ebay item that you have for sale, it is not like your trying to get traffic to another forum or website. |

Hey, I got it for $800 in the Summer of '06, and it hasn't given me a single problem - even runs BioShock decently. |

Current PC:
HP Pavilion a305w
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Intel Celeron 2.7Ghz
512MB RAM DDR PC2700@166Mhz
Nvidia GeForce FX 5200
Future Custom Built PC (In the mail right now, might be here Friday, and I'm sort of a noob PC builder):
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium
Dual-Core AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Windsor 2.6GHz
MSI K9NGM3-FIH AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 7050 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
APEVIA X-Plorer ATXB8KLW-AL/420 Black Body/Silver Front Panel Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 420W Power Supply
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS (Perpendicular Recording Technology) 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
Hanns·G HG-191RPB Black 19" 2ms DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor
Couldn't buy a video card right now (not much money, don't wanna just buy something cheap), so that will have to wait for a future upgrade.
Hey, how hard is it to install a CPU? I have done everything else except the motherboard and CPU, but I don't think the motherboard would be that hard.
