XBOX 360 question
Anyone know of a good forum with xbox 360 firmware flashing guides for the hitachi-lg dvd drive... im wanting to try backin up my 360 games and i need to flash my firmware

Hitachi's are hard to flash, just to warn you.
I would try xbox-scene.com forums.

Not true, some custom firmware now is undetectable.
Also if you have an actual mod chip, you can easily disable them.

I would mod my 360 for emulators, and homebrew.. Maybe to backup some of my games like Splinter Cell: Double agent, which is scratched beyond help, but.
And like I said the new custom firmware is undetectable at the moment, so you wouldn't get banned as of now, even playing burnt games.

Also, its not the firmware that makes it undetectable its the way you burn the game, so if you download a game you have to make sure it has the secruity patch. I got everything ready to mod my samsung ms28 drive but I have to order a special VIA SATA chipset inorder to do it which is only 20 bucks. | |
