Talking Wii Remote Jackets

Hey for those of you that have a wii they are now sending the wii with remote jackets. For people like me who bought it at launch you can go here

http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/jac...ketrequest.jsp

They will let you order up to 4 and Nintendo will ship them to you free. Nintendo for the win!

I order them a few months ago, before I sold my Wii. The shipping was very fast, just like the wrist straps. The remote jackets are HUGE though. They're not like the 3rd party skins you see.

ive gotten 8 of these so far. took a few weeks to get the first batch but the second was just a few days.

they work great for my kids. they have an easier time holding the remotes. im not a fan of any jackets for the wiimote.

This is perfect for people who "accidently" throw their wiimote because they lost their grip. Well, its cushion for them anyways.

I have my wii modded, and I know they ask for the serial number on it, is that problem or should I not do it?

I don't htink the wii firmware has anything to do with it. I had a chip installed in mine. It works great. I'll never get rid of it kinda like my regular xbox, i got a 250 gb hard drive in it, no more carrying games around just bring the system, controllers and cables and i'm done.

One question though, can you take the battery cover off without taking the whole jacket off? I got some cheap rubber grips from best buy and i found i had to take them off to switch the battery (or to put the wi-mote in my spiffy charger).

you need to take them off to get to the battery cover, but its pretty easy, I bought a different brand from GAME, a local game shop and they sucked.
