lol i know.... but what it doesnt have right now, are games.

Which is what i want.

If i want to watch movies, ill watch them from my pc streamed to my tv, if i want to browse the web, ill do it on my pc.

Its obvious you like your ps3, and i like my xbox. But hopefully i`ll be convinced to buy one again by the time this year is up.

i have seena youtube video of someone being able to play Backup PSX games and PS2 games on the PS3.....is this at all possible or is it some trick. i personally am not interested in bricking my ps3 as of the reason. it cost me a fortune. so if i were to brick it. you know what kind of mood i would be in. all of you would also know how it feels. i wouldnt really care if the ps3 was majorley hacked. it would be cool if it could play ps3 backups.....somehow but i do not see that happening......not this year anyway

i know why the ps3 does not have cfw. DARK ALEX. to make custom firmware you need dark alex. i highly doubt anyone out there can make a firmware like dark alex. so d-a get on the ps3.

i saw a video where they hard-modded a switch onto the blu-ray drive so they could eject without the system knowing. Then you just wait for the country code and junt to load up on a legit game, then eject and trow in your backup. The ps3 just thins it had a read error for a few seconds.
Im not too keen on cracking open my ps3 though....
If you install linux you can play psx backups in an emulator. I suppose you could do the same with the ps2 emu, but its not very stable and without the rsx it might be hard to get it running.
