Mario...PS3 or 360?

i was just reading an article on IGN, talking about how the new sonic game, Sonic: Unleased, will be released exclusively on the ps3...now this just got me to thinkg, do you think mario (or any other nintendo character) will be released on these consoles? now i know you might say...no way will nintendo let this happen, but we've seen a lot of break-ups in consoles (capcom, bungie, etc..) just something to think about you know? (note: my paint skills suck, but you get the idea

)

Well you never know.

Remember back when Sonic & Mario were said to be the "companies characters" - Sega and Nintendo respectfully.

No one would ever think they would be in the same game... and look where we are now, they're both at the fuckin Olympics!

well it reminds me of one song: DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE! if you remember the ads that were running, the olympic game was the best game to come out for nintendo, then after a week, it was lost...

Marios one of Nintendo's Titans i can't see that happening,I Wish Sega were still making Consoles but with the utter bollocks they release nowadays i doubt that will ever happen

mario, zelda, and pokemans will be nintendo forever. the only thing i can see happening is the classic mario games on psn or xbl arcade.

could you imagine playing pokemon on the ps3? maybe we'll see them actually bleed... or pikachu will pick up an ak47 and kill ash.

Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, and Metroid are completely owned by Nintendo the only way they will ever appear on any other console is if Nintendo collapsed the way Sega did and had to get out of the console market.

The world is very lucky to have Sonic he could have gone down with the sequal to the Dreamcast, but Sega was smart, they cut their losses and bailed on the console market, and have been able to ride their mascot to stay a top game development studio.

Yeah, Mario kicks ass though, If he went to a more mature console, They might add some more adult stuff... O wait, they DID that, Its the WHOLE FUCKING MARIO PLOT!
A fat Italion Plumber, Doing Shrooms, with his Anarexic Brother, Going to go find a Prinses in the Mushroom Kingdom... Yeah... Thats about like GTA

So are you saying you've actually enjoyed one of tne recent Sonic games?
From what i've played there awful, Sonic Heroes, is the worst platform game ive ever played, i remember one part you had to slide on a pole to get to the next area but every time you jumped on the pole you just fell through it. The last Shadow game was nasty to with his silly bad ass guns. & Sonic can be done well in 3D Sonic Adventure 1 is proof of this.I gave up on Mario since it went 3D I didnt enjoy it. as for Crash that series fell since Naughty Dog stopped making them which is a damn shame, Ratchet & Clank is certainly not good enough to be the PS3's Platform game.

based on what you just said i have to agree 100%...the last sonic game i enjoyed was Sonic Adventure (maybe 2) and i never liked mario, the idea of short guy riding a a creature caled Yoshi never got to me, and Crash, those were the days, after Warped, they only made crash for multi-player and no more story lines...and WTF is a un-heard species and a little robot doing in the game making business? cant these devs come up with something at least better? can we try humans?

if mario leaves nintendo, nintendo will die. Mario wont be leaving though because nintendo owns Mario.
