Default PSP as a storage device for PS3

I was wondering. I have a bunch of movies on my external hard drive. I tried using that on my PS3 then discovered it has to be FAT32 for the PS3 to read it. So what I'm trying to ask is, if I take those movies/music and put them onto my PSP, can i copy them onto my PS3 hdd? And if so, what folders do they go in?

Yes you can do that. When you copy music and videos over to your ps3, it will automatically put it in the correct place for you.

Thanks dukepoth. But when I put them onto my PSP, do they need to be in a certain folder?

They can be in any folder but I usually put mine in the root so it is easier to browse and copy over. Just highlight your psp icon on the ps3 and press triangle then select browse all. Then copy over your files.
