PS3 Headsets...?

Noob question, given that I've been wanting a headset for my PS3, and I wanted a full headset, but it would appear that if I want wireless (ie: bluetooth) I have to settle for a cellphone-type setup?

The PS3 is too far away, unless I can connect two USBs together, so my question is this: are the bluetooth headsets just voice chat only? As in, will I still be able hear the "sounds" of the game(s) from my speakers, and then hear voice chat only through the headset?

I want to make sure, before shelling out money, and then not getting what I want. I want a full headset, but it doesn't look like that's in the cards...

the headsets are just voice only..the sound still comes from the speakers of the tv/stereo...so its like headset to headset, now you can change that once you register you headset with your psp..its in Audio Headset Settings...good luck

Thanks, Hercules. Sometimes you think you know the answer, but then confirmation is always good, so one doesn't think something is one way, and it turns out to be another way...

I just have BT headphones plugged in at the same time. Works just as well as any xboxLive headset.

Thanks, Switch. I went to BB and got the GameShark/Mad Katz ear piece, haven't tried it yet, maybe tomorrow. Hopefully it works as well as it claims on the packaging... LOL
