its crazy how one game series can last this long, i think Mario did it too, correct? from a classic console, to the a nex-gen console...well i hope that kojima lives up to his hype, im going to the midnight release after my graduation today...so yeah, dont we get the MGO disc also?

I'm selling my PS3 and rock band to get the cash for the bundle, but I've already pre-paid for the Limited Edition. I want to keep that as just a keep sake though.

Im not a big fan of MGS, but this one looks pretty sweet. I probably wont play it because i never finished mgs1 though. The ps3 fanboys are going to be assholes when this game is released though. For some reason they think its going to sell a billion consoles and convince dev's to drop what they are doing and make love to the ps3.
The 40gb bundle is selling like hotcakes though. Makes me wish i had invested in one, lol.

i pre ordered this game months ago, not exagerating at all. i played the MG:Online Beta and it was amazing. Famitsu just gave the game a 40/40 and its part of their 8 gaming wonders and word is that there is a 90 minute cut scene in this one, and a 5 min installation time; not bad at all. honestly if u played the beta for MG:Online (which comes with MGS4) u would buy a ps3 for this game, its just spectacular.

40GB bundles? The bundles are 80GB, unless you're paying 100 dollars extra for the Gun Metal PS3...o_O

yeah, the gunmetal 40gb's are selling on ebay already. I should have bought 2 so i could re-sell them. The 80gb will be around for a while but theres still a high demand for them. It makes me wish i liked MGS.

I just went onto Playstations Website and took a look at the video for MGS4......... It looks absolutely amazing. Not the graphics or anything like that, but I used to own a PSone and I finished MGS1 and I loved the story. I am a Xbox 360 owner and I Diehard Halo fan, but I'll give MGS4 credit, it looks great, and I know the storyline will have gamers salivating. Won't make me give up my 360 though!!! lol

I'm personally no fan boy of any of the consoles, not that I'm calling anybody one.

I'll take what I can get, the reason I wanted a PS3 was for MGS4, so that was my first pick. Of course other titles I want like Silent Hill and Resident Evil 5 will be coming onto the PS3 too, so it's not just this game that i benefit from having a PS3

Yes, the ending is floating around, but I'd like to say "You can no the way of the path, but walking the path is always a different experience"

the graphics arent 'over-the-top-Gears of War-esque-visuals, it looks realistic. MGS isnt supposed to look like all fantasy like its meant to look realistic and it does.

Yeah, the graphics don't matter so much for me.

It's the story.

I get sooooo into the storylines, I could care less about the length of the cutscenes, I've always enjoyed that part of MGS.

So I'll be getting 2 copies tomorrow. One with my bundle, and the pre-order I have.
