What PS3 game do you recommend? - Page 2

Resistance is a fucking mess. For a next gen console, it doesn't feel anything like a next gen game. The game is smooth, no frame rate drops but still feels like a very last gen game.

RNC:ToD was a letdown for me. I really expected a revolutionary RNC game but all I got was the same experience with better visuals and slightly more cunning weapon functions.

The hype around MGS4 is false. I bought it, watched the incredibly long FMVs, and played the game. All in all I got a decent experience. Definitely the best MGS experience I've had but the game is in dire need of an editor. If you're not a fan, you're not going to like it. The fact that you have a SILENCED TRANQUILIZER PISTOL that can put your enemies to sleep in ONE HIT at almost ANY PART OF THEIR BODY breaks the Stealth gameplay element down to its knees. It's almost too cluttered, the control scheming is still terrible requiring 3 buttons at once to fire but much more realistic linear game play than other MGS titles.

GTA4: Had potential, nothing special. Sharp graphics, driving physics enhanced, online play was brilliant but at the end of the day it's nothing more than another GTA title with shiny glistening graphics and an immersive storyline.

Only game I would go out on a limb to recommend would be Burnout Paradise or Prototype (if it ever comes out). SOCOM looks promising as well but I can just imagine all of the campers the game would incorporate.

Uncharted is amazing... (I'm still stuck in the boiler room... GD things are coming out of everywhere...)

COD4 is cool, though I'm starting to want to look into Bad Company... Guess I'll DL the demo, later today.

Assassin's Creed rocks, IMHO. Damn good game!

RNC pretty decent, great graphics, but agreed with others... RNC is RNC...

I only have the Burnout demo, but I'm jones'in to get the full game. I just got GT5: Prologue, and am blown away. Can't wait for the full game. (Any recommendations for a steering wheel?)

u do realize R:FoM is a launch title? i mean what can u expect from one of the first games out on PS3? its not a mess in the least, u even said ur self "the game is smooth, no frame rate drops", how is that a mess? of course all of the games that are coming out a year and a half later are going to have better graphics and all that fun stuff but this game is still one of the best out on the system.

When I play it feels like I'm playing a post-apocalyptic version of WWII. Even for a launch title it seemed extremely rushed. It's almost like the folks at Insominac games watched a Alien marathon, took the unique weapon design of RNC, and then threw in some MoH elements. The graphics are not stellar at all, take a look at motor storm. It looked amazing.

Edit: Forgot to mention in my post up there. Motorstorm is fucking AWESOME. If you love ATV or any type of dirt bike/extreme racing/high speed games you will love Motorstorm. I still look back to it every couple days even when I have Burnout Paradise to entertain me.
