What PS3 game do you recommend?

the haze demo sucked. ratchet and clank was really fun if you like those types of games, uncharted is pretty good, it has a long story (i didn't really like the ending levels tho) and is a pretty solid game. Call of Duty is a sick shooter. Motorstorm is old, but it's still pretty good, although you might want to wait for the second one.

I played COD4 and really liked it, just didn't wanna run out and get it since I am limited to one game purchase right now. I do like the ratchet and clank games.I have GTA4 and Motorstorm, and am undecided about Battlefield.

Thanks for the input - so far I it's a toss up between COD4 and Battlefield. Does anyone know if wither of these games support KB and Mouse like Unreal Tournament 3?

*Haze, why? People say it's horrible, and is the worst game, only because it was HYPED beyond belief. It's not a bad game at all. That and you can get it for around $30 already :P

*Resistance, even though the second one is coming out soon, it's a fun game to play online, and the campaign is decent. It'll set you up with the second one as well if you're looking forward to that.

I didn't put COD4 as I think it's horrible, but the PS3 version is said to be better then the 360 version.

i say Battlefield Bad Company.
the story line isnt the greatest or anything but the online is pretty sick.
12 vs 12 with vehicles, helicopters, tanks, hummers, buggy.
a lot of stuff is destructible so camping doesnt really work like on CoD4.
CoD4 is still pretty good, but after u play BF:BC u notice how unrealistic shit is.
with sniping on CoD4 u just put the crosshair on the guy from across the map and he dies.
on BF:BC u have to aim ahead to account for travel time.
that can be either a turn on or turn off, but to me i got a huge hard on.
also there is no rumble support in CoD4 but there is in BF:BC.
CoD4 is also a lot more close quarters shooting and thats also a turn off to me.
thats my take on both those games, and i was a ravid CoD4 fan up until spring break.
i have like 7 days total hours on it.
thats my take on the ur little toss up between the two.

i think UT3 is the only game with KB and Mouse support.

pretty much every game that canadianbacon said i would have to agree on for the buying list.
i think some good games to rent would be Army of Two, Dark Sector, Lost Planet, Dynasty Warriors 6, Assassins Creed, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and Warhawk(online only).

in a few months theres ganna be an overload of cool games coming out, Killzone 2, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Resistance 2, Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway, CoD5 (i love WWII), Socom Confrontation, Fallout 3, FF13 and V13, Prince of Persia.

i had a whole bunch of games...but i traded them in to get a new ps3, and it was worth it!!!! i only have gta4. mgs4, and need for speed..i have bad company and haze demos...all online games, my next game is madden 09...gonna go to the midnight release...

and i did, brought it back because my friend wants to play MGO...right now my ps3 is collecting dust....and the gamesave has been deleted

i mean i would delete my gamesave if i beat MGS4 2 times in 3 days on Big Boss Extreme with no alerts or kills.

I think I'll sit on it for a while. Maybe I can wait until the next few new releases and then decide. And if not, at least these games will drop in proce and possibly, I can find them used at gamestop or ebay.

I really appreciate everyone's input. I tried COD4 and it is an awesome game, I've seen Battlefield video reviews and I love the destructable environs. Perhaps I have sell something else and buy both.
