Anybody else get into the LittleBigPlanet beta?
Just got my code yesterday, and I'm LOVING it. Believe the hype - this is gonna be the Game of the Year.
I'm just hoping they'll carry over the levels from the beta into the final release when the game comes out on the 21st; some of the stuff that people have created already is insane! |

This way, there will be DLC from Day 1 - smart move for Sony, I'd think.
In either case, my bedroom will become "LBP Central" come launch day; I can't see myself playing anything else, at least not for a while. Now, if I can just find a plushie Sackboy and one of those limited-edition LBP mini-billboards that Sony's been hiding around the country (and keep getting stolen and put up on eBay for crazy amounts of $$$) to decorate my entertainment center with, I'll be all set! |

Sadly I haven't the PS3 for trying this out...however I went to their website and they posted this:
With the LittleBigPlanet beta coming to a close on October 12th at 23:59 GMT, we'll be getting everything ready for the launch of the game. As many of you are doubtless aware, at present we are not planning to make shared creations from the beta test available in the full version of the game, however we are aware that a lot of time and effort has been put into what you've created so far.
With this in mind we're going to give you the choice! Whether you took part in the LittleBigPlanet beta test or not your opinion counts - would you rather that created levels and items from the beta test were available when the game launches, or would you rather we removed everything and the shared side of the game started from scratch? Vote in the LittleBigPoll (left column) before Monday October 13th, and we'll go with whichever option receives more votes!
Please bear in mind that what we're talking about here are levels that have been uploaded already, any save game data, offline creations or progress cannot be transferred into the full game. |

I also saw that billboard contest MM's doing now on the front page: LittleBigPlanet™ News Site - LittleBigChallenge 008 - LittleBigBillboards
I'll have to try and come up with something. I haven't done one of MM's LittleBigChallenges before - is there a prize or something? |

What IS Little Big Planet? I have an XBox 360, and I've heard little about the game. What I DID hear though, is that the game is supposed to be REALLY good. but it looks. cartoony, and for little kids... can someone fill me in?
