should final fantasy 7 be remade?

I'm playing the game for the first time on computer after hearing tales about how good it is and it is living up to it reputation but i played crisis core first and compared to that, cloud looks like he's made up lego pieces

So i think square enix should do a remake on ps3 with final fantasy 13 graphics, game play and voice acting

No, it'd be like when they remake classic films, they're usually always terrible. Games don't need amazing graphics to be great, and FF7 proved that.

QFT. FF7 is probably the worst game ever made. Squaresoft/Enix have milked that game so much it's not even funny. The gameplay sucks and story sucks.

FF8 is better in every way, its longer, funner and actually required you to think unlike FF7.

I forgot to add to my post that i much prefer 8 to 7, that and X are my favourite FF. I've played both for hundreds of hours, but i'm pretty sure i've never completed 7.

I'd like em to remake it just like with every other Final Fantasy game even if its up graphics like the Final Fantasy I & II on PSP. Personally think that they should remake Final Fantasy 6 or 3 whatever people wanna call it. I mean seriously Sephiroth aint got nothing on Kefka. Kefka actually took over the world!!! I mean come on theres a bad guy for ya right there.

i dont see people talking about "oh whens square enix making a ff8 remake?" FF8 pales in comparison to FF7. For starters this thread is about FF7 Remake not FF8.

I would love to see FFVII remade, but, I'd have to say NO. As a FF fan, I would understand that game was a good one, but, It's been said several times that it will not be remade, so, I vote No.

Hasn't there already been about one billion different FF7 games, animes, and movies already? Man, give it a rest already. Square Enix should concentrate on making newer games better instead of making newer versions of the same damn game, so that they don't end up like that shitfest FF12.

I would say that if they were to remake it...they need to be pretty hardcore to leave certain elements alone.
Dialog should remain either mostly or completely untouched with the voice overs from advent children might I add...

Wouldn't it be great to see Cloud dress up as a woman in much more advanced graphics...? not just the graphics though...music too, same score just......touched up such as the boss theme that the Black Mages covered (don't remember the name of that song) To tone down costs though it should indeed be a psp release *i'm really only saying that because i have no plans to buy either an xbox360 or ps3 in the future*
