The PS2's were chipped, and if you've never installed one before you don't know what modding is...Xboxes were hotswapped...DS doesn't really count, all you need is a flash cart...Almost had a shot at a wii but my buddy sold it before I ever ordered the chip.
the wii doesnt need a chip for some of the basic stuff. just a net connection and a sd card...watch out though sometimes it bricks incredibly easy

Well, yeah over messenger it takes a while. I should have brought my PS2 to my computer and turned on the webcam. You know, I think I'll make a tutorial.

You can run homebrew and backups. No modchips required. All you need is a spare memory card, (or one that is more than 8MB and has at least 8MB free) a copy of 007: Agent Under Fire (you can buy it used for like $2), a DVD Burner, and a PSP Slim (will work for Phat, but more complicated). Basically, the point of all this is I'm going to be able to show you how to run Swap Magic from your memory card, and you don't even have to own a Swap Magic disc. The best part is all you have to do to hack any other PS2 is put your memory card in there.

You cannot hack any iPod past the Nano 1G or Video 5.5G (except Phone and Touch of course), due to the fact that Apple started encrypting their firmwares at that point. You can google it if you don't believe me. You can get 3G style menus on your 1G, though, which is what I have now.
