My Wii, which I've had since they came out, disc player finally stopped working. It's made this humming noise when discs are put into it for about 2 years. So Today I tried to unscrew it and I took all the screws off that I could find but it wouldn't open up. So I just put the screws back in it. Well the humming stopped but it won't play any games! Any ideas on why this happened and what I can do to fix this?

Please no Wii hate I hate the thing too but I use it for homebrew, emulators, browsing the internet and Brawl. Thanks in advance.
