1st person view points are suppose to make you feel like youre in the game and not just watching it. when you take cover, you have to predict when the enemy will be visible so you can take the shot, not wait for them to poke up like in 3rd person and kill them without any risk

FPS games are one of the most immersive genres in gaming today, making you feel as if youre actually in the fight. its even more effective in a horror game when you dont have any idea whats behind you unless you turn around

I guess you guys dont know that Modern Warfare 2 has a 3rd person option? oh yes its true. You can play in first or 3rd person!

it works in every playlist of the game, campaign and multi-player, you can't however play 3rd person with someone that plays in first person because the 3rd person would have advantage peeping around corners etc. There will be designated 3rd person playlist and designated first person playlist and of course private party which you can make your own settings.

I dont know, havent heard anything, and I cant find anything confirming on the webs. I would think they would release one before or shortly after release though.
