I'm trying to compile a list of useful information about the PSV. That way we won't have to scrounge about the web for an hour just to find that one little tidbit.
If you have anything you think is relevant just post it in here and I will add it to the list as Soon™ as possible.
Personally I prefer to have one official link or at least two unofficial links as sources for verification, but feel free to use whatever system you like for your contributions.
To do: Add more FAQs to the FAQ. Find and verify more game release dates.

What is this "Passport" thing, and how does it work?
With the launch of the PS Vita, Sony will introduce a "UMD Passport" program that lets you download PSP games that you own as UMDs from the PlayStation Store to your PS Vita. The catch? The UMD Passport service will cost approximately $5 to $10 (500 to 1000 yen) for EACH GAME you want to download.[1]
You can find a more detailed list of prices on this Japanese press release.
Do I have to have a memory stick in my PS Vita to launch a game?
Rumor has it that some titles will require you to have a memory stick installed before you can even launch the game.[1]
Not all games will have this requirement.[1] *needs verification*
Let's hope the ones that do require a memory stick will say that on the box.

Yep, you're a little late.
I guess I should add a paragraph at the top with an introduction. Meanwhile you can watch this footage from E3 about the PlayStation Vita. This was back in June, but most of what they announced there hasn't changed a lot.
Aww cool.....is it hackable maybe not. LOL everytime they come out with a new one people try to hack it. Like the pspGO, one week after boom a new youtube hacking psp video.
I want it capcaom
Just Adding something from the website teeeheeeee![]()

Thanks, added some of that to the post.
nice work tracerbullet.
I will be getting me a Vita once the price drops about $100 dollars, I was thinking of getting one at launch but have since bought a psp go and decided I can wait.
I would like the games to drop in price a bit and also wait until they make a good shell/case so I don't have to worry about scratches on the screen.
Just to get something straight, Call of Duty and Assassins Creed has not been confirmed that it's being released on February 22, 2012. They just confirmed that they are working on these titles. Although I do hope that these are released on Feb 22.
You're right, Master220. I'll clarify that.
List of PlayStation Vita games - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This has a list of all the games for the Vita. It says if they have a release date or not. It seems to be pretty accurate.
Nice! I'll go through that list and have a look at the sources.
Keep in mind that (and I don't mean this as a criticism or anything) Wikipedia has a special way of evaluating sources. In very basic terms, the criteria for a source to be considered a "reliable source" on Wikipedia is whether A) what it says matches other sources, and B) whether other people are using it as a source.
They don't directly measure the truth of a source, but instead verifiability.
Again, I'm not saying this to have a go at Wikipedia, but sometimes there can be more useful sources (like official press releases - which ARE true, and DON'T meet Wikipedia standards).
Oh, and, that's just for things that HAVE sources, a lot of info on WP isn't even sourced at all, especially in the video game section.
