Sony has taken a forward-thinking stance with the PS Vita in many ways, but as with the PS3, the web browser still seems to be antiquated. We’ve received word from a user testing the PS Vita that YouTube is broken on the device. Despite HTML5 support being promised, the YouTube site denotes that the PS Vita browser is not capable of rendering videos.

Additionally, an online test of the browser’s HTML5 capabilities revealed that it is missing several features — most notably canvas and video support. While this is rather disappointing, there’s always the chance that future firmware updates will remedy this. Still, Sony’s lack of attention on the PS3 browser front doesn’t exactly instill us with hope.

They could port do a Firefox port... I mean FF does have a mobile version and everyone knows that it's better than even the PS3's browser.
