Just got a Vita running FW 2.06.

I'm just wondering here the hacking has come thus far on vita?

What's the possibility on playing PS1, PSP, PS2, and Vita games on the system?

What about emulators? Particularly N64... I've seen videos of people playing games like Mario Party, Mario Kart and Super Mario 64 which all looked to run flawlessly.

I've heard there is a hack for 2.06 coming out shortly.

Just wondering what things I can expect to be able to do with my Vita once it does happen. Thanks guys!

If you stay around wololo.net and dig in a little bit about vhbl you might find out. I'm not really in to the Vita hacking so I don't update myself much since I don't have a vita. From what I know though is that the devs have successfully did hack the vita. But don't expect getting yours done too because they didn't release it to the public. They believe that the vita is still young and it still has a lot to come to it. They're also trying to help the vita game devs so the console won't end up losing everything like the psp.

Cool cool. Well if anybody on here has experience with it, and knows what the PS Vita can do at this point (hacked) I'd love to know!

    Thanks!

What about playing PS1 and PS2 games?

And playing Vita games, has that been conquered yet?

    ps1 yes, ps2 I don't know. But I think they're still working on that.

    EDIT:
I found this cfw for the vita http://wololo.net/downloads/index.php/download/7871

I mean to ask, do you need the PSP emulator to play like NES, SNEs emulators etc... or has Vita got to the point where you can play emulators on it?

Can you run NES, SNES, N64 emulators on the Vita, or does it have to happen though PSP emulators?

Do you need to run emulators like N64 off the PSP emulator, or has it gotten to the point where you can now do it off the vita itself?

Look there is no native hack for the vita so you won't see any homebrew or vita games on the vita side also no ps2 now for the psp side it has been fully hacked but since yor on 2.06 the only thing you can do is wait for VHBL wich will only allow homebrew to be playd as wololo dev it that way and I don't think there will be another kexploit since everyone in the psp/psv/ps3 scene are pissed at people for leaking there work cause they could not wait all in all you can't do much of anything on 2.06 sorry
