    i have a ps3 that turns on but no picture/sound comes on tv when switched on either through hdmi or av, i have tried all the tips and tricks out there to reset video settings and to try and restore it but none of it works, anyone got any suggestions on what to do?

    Boot it into safe mode:How to access Playstation 3 SAFE MODE - PlayStation® Community Forums

    Common problem if you dont "quit game" before shutting it down. I would select option 3 once your in safe mode

    tried that and still nothing has happened didn't even show anything on screen
