    Is there an emulator for the PS3 slim to play ps2 games? Or does modding allow that from the start?

    Certain PS3's have backwards compatibility, however if you own a later PS3 with no backwards compatibility then you cannot play PS2 games.

    I know the PS3 fat can play them, but every slim i have seen wont
