    Well, I tried playing my FFII on my PSP but I get a " The game could not be started. (80020148)"

    and I can't play.

    I'm on 3.03 OE-C.

    Anyone help?

    upgrade to 3.52 M33-4
    1st = 3.40 - 3.51 - Return to Wal-Mart
    2nd = 3.40 - Friend Breaks Nub - Retun to Wal-Mart
    3rd = 3.40 - 3.50 - 1.50 - 3.40 OE-C - 3.03 OE - 3.52 M33 - 3.52 M33-2 - 3.52 M33-3 - 3.52 M33-4 - BRICKED - UNBRICKED! - 3.52 M33-4

    if theres some reason u wanna stick with 3.03 FW, u need to have a UMD in the drive in order to boot an iso/cso file.
    Sign up at GameFly
    and get a copy of Lumines to assist in downgrading your psp.

    Thanks kkrizka, but I found the problem. I just needed to upgrade to 3.52 M33

    Hi..does anyone know why i get the "80020148" message everytime i try opening an iso game? i am using a game umd and i have set up the recoveryconfig ive even reinstalled the 3.71 m33-2 firmware....plz help, this is kind of depressing

    Im on v3.80 OFW and i tried to play a demo off the sony website and when i try to access it, it says "The game could not be started" (80020148) could anyone help me out?

    I am running on sonys 3.95 firmware and when i try to download the 4.01 M33 firmware it sais "The game could not be started" (80020148). please help!

    as I said, we should put a 800 error message forum just for the messages... this is like the ... 20th time I've seen somebody complaining about this error message..
