Two threads about the same thing?

Let me start by saying i am a big time NOOB, so please bare with me.
I am using firmware version 3.52 m33-2. I had a 1Gb memory stick, and just got a 4gb. I put in the 4gb memory stick, plugged the psp into my computer and there were no folders on the card (game, iso, music, video - nothing). So i figured I could put the 1gb card back in, copy the folders on to my computer, then go on to copy them onto the 4gb card. I put a couple games on the card, they do show up, however I cannot run them.
Any help to my problem is appreciated.

what, exactly is the error message (or whatever it does) when it doesn't play the games?
