12-01-2007, 08:47 PM buy a wireless router for your home. if youre mobile, then u need to be near a hotspot. use the psp's "new connection" scan fuction to look for wireless AP's without security and tap into them. no AP, no internet. simple as that

12-01-2007, 10:08 PM Starbucks or McDonalds? Doesn't Starbucks charge incredible amounts of money for very limited internet use? Also, I have gone to a McDonalds before to try and use their internet and they told me it wasn't open to the public. However this was in Arizona and the person behind the counter was Mexican and we could barely understand each other. I suggest....if you have a car or don't mind walking.....go to a decent neighborhood and just sit or park outside a house with good internet connection. If this seems a little too weird for you....you can do the same thing but in front of a business.....I usually go to plazas when I am out and about. Almost always one of the stores in the plaza will have a decent internet connection.
12-02-2007, 12:39 AM McDonalds that have WiFi in MD are free, also I saw a Kmart with a nice setup with internet and stuff. But the best way would be to scan for a network in the neighborhood or just but a Wireless access point yourself!

in china, starbucks and other cafe shops of the sort dont charge, at all.
just buy a cup of coffee and turn your psp on...
as for mc d's, i havent found one that uses wifi, and ive been to 3 different countries, 20 cities.

12-09-2007, 08:33 AM i live near a bunch of hotspots the starbucks the grocerystore i think even ebgames has a hotspot. whats cools about the grocerystore is its a free wifi cafe with a fake fireplace dimly lit with tables and chairs its real nice and its all for free
