i am currently running 3.90m33-3 and i was wondering if there was any way to play my own music while on the web or playing games.
i ran into a plug in that would allow me to do this but it said it was only for 3.52 cfw. Is there not a plugin for us 3.90 users?

just type in How to play music on PSP while playing games into youtube. it should pop up

its called ir shell. you run it from the xmb, play the mp3 you want, press O to make that track loop forever, then press the umd icon, or go back to the XMB by the xmb icon to play a backup.
