More to the point we NEED an eq for the psp if we have to make one, because with normal speakers the bass is WEAK and the throw is too wide, WE WANT PRE AMP! and a logarithmic eq from 7.8 hz to 92000Khz (studio/scientific quality :O shockhorror)
ed. 7.8hz is the natural frequancy of this planet therefore your subs will never make a note lower than 7.9hz, 7.8 = signal but no sound...utterly inaudible...maybe dogs can hear it...anything lower than 40hz would probably vibrate the psp into little peice's with right circumstance, less boost needed.
