Equalizer Customizations?

Wow, this thread deteriorated pretty quick, lol. Should be locked, deleted & a new one made with the 2 or 3 replies that are actually relevant to anything.. anyways, I'm a total PSP n00b & just got a good set of Denon headphones to go with mine, and I too would like some sound customization. During my 30 seconds of searching, I found this thread, and this one:

Haven't got to fiddle around and see why it's not working for me, but it sounds like it could be the ticket. I wish there was a plugin that would alter ALL sound once set, like for watching movies/playing games etc, but if this one works well for music I'd be happy. Also, I see something about it recognizing music sub-folders. Not sure if that'd address my thread regarding music organization, (which it's not letting me stick a partial link to and I don't have the time to figure out what I'm doing wrong) ..but would be nice. Anybody have this or feel like fiddling with it to see how to get it to work?

Link leads to visualizations and an mp3 app, no plug in but still useful, I have my preference of player though. How hard are .prx plug ins to code?
