    I was playing Vice city Stories on my psp, and it was working fine. Then the other day i go to play it again, i get an error message that disc cant be read. I pressed that little black tab that lets ur PSP know when you have a UMD in there, and the laser is shinning a red light like its supposed to, and moving up and down. The disc spinner is working fine. I just have no idea whats wrong. Ive tryed multiple umds. Anybody?? Thanks for your help

    Looks like your UMD drive went bye bye
    Your best solution will be to take it to the store if its on warranty or to install a custom firmware and play backups (ISO/CSO)
    When you have a custom firmware you can turn on the option for playing the backups without a UMD inserted.

    I have installed custom firmware on 2 psps that had that problem, both of then are playing only backups, because the UMD has gone on vacations

    Of course, if you dont have a UMD you cant make a backup, so you´ll have to make a trip to sites were you can download PSP games, dont let the dark side seduze you, good luck
    PSP History: 3.40 -> 3.50 -> The Lumines Incident -> 1.50 -> 3.03 OEC -> 3.53 M33 -> 3.71 m33 -> 3.80 m33 -> 4.01 m33 - All systems are go for play
