whats the difference between a memory stick and magic memory stick

what do i have i bought an 8GB at best but and it says mark 2
its sony
my psp has 3.80 M33-5 firmware
when i format it i still have the iso folders

PS should i change my firmware to anoother or is it just fine
i mianly want to play psp games ps1 and older systems

You should be fine ...i also have 3.80 m33, and i can play all the games that come out, i´ll upgrade when i start having problems with some game or when i dont have anything to do

They are both interchangeable...meaning that you can convert a normal card to a "magic" one and a "magic" one to a normal one.

Can I use this magic memory stick as a normal stick for gameplay or should I put it back to its normal state before i play games with it?

well, you can, just don't use your mms together with jigkick batt. but it takes space in your memory stick.

and also magic memory stick is easy to create, 3-5 minutes and your done.
