Trying to make pandora batt (even tho i ordered one)

i got to this step and i dont get it

"Execute "msipl" application on the PC with the msipl.bin to write
    the IPL to memory stick"

BUT the only program i got with the pack was "msinst"

-i tried copying the msipl.bin file to the folder where that prog is on my pc but didnt work when i clicked it still

    Have a Fat or slim?

Well I shoulda told you... on the command prompt you should use the universal unbricker (option 4) even if it is a slim.

But if you have custom already to get service mode all you have to do is master reset (Hold power button down) and start it up holding R again.

no service mode is to repair a brick and or downgrade and or install cfw. recovery mode is for changing the cfw goodies.

OK - i have done that
but when i go to run the pandoras battery creator it show this....

    Error at address 0x26
    Pandora's Battery Creator.
Pandora's Battery Authors: (authors listed here)

    Current serial: 0x3D868A00

Please, select the operation you want to perform on your battery:

X: Convert battery into Service Mode one (aka Pandora's Battery).
[ ]: Convert battery into normal one.
O: Convert battery into normal one that auto poweron.
/\: Backup battery eeprom to ms0:/eeprom.bin
L+R: Flash battery eeprom from ms0:/eeprom.bin
    HOME: Exit without doing anything

Should it say "Error at address 0x26" at the beggining there?

Cuz when i run these things it seems to work but battery wont do my psp into service mode.

So i tried it with my origional battery and it worked fine. It turns out my replacement from DealExtreme.com cant be turned into a pandora battery. I am not sure why though. (maybe cuz it has both eng and jap on the label, lol)
