08-10-2008, 02:59 AM Hi all, my brother got bored of his PSP and I've started playing it. It has version 4.05. From what I understand, I need a pandora's battery to install a custom firmware. So my basic question is, does this work as a pandora's battery:

? Or will it only let me boot files off of the memory stick while the service tool is being used?

08-11-2008, 01:21 AM how would you hardmod a PSP? I can't make my own pandora battery due to the fact none of my friends have a homebrew PSP.
Also, if I bought that, should I just run applications off of the memory stick, or should I install the custom firmware?

08-11-2008, 02:00 AM The datel tool battery will work, but you won't be able to use the .cso mms maker from official firmware - You'll need to use a MMS maker from your PC. You on XP or Vista?
