Ive started getting into customizing my psp abit more. I changed the intro to something.. i feel a lil more fitting for myself.

I wanted to change the gameboot.pmf file.. But two things..
one my flash drive dont seem have a gameboot.pmf file any where. two..
the kid I bought it from said he changed the gameboot to something he liked.

I found a website that had a bunch of gameboots wanted to go through them and find one i liked. went to try one and It says i got no free space on that drive. Anything I can do to access this file?

Also there a bunch of other stuff like Camera plugings.. illl never use can i get rid of some of these files or no?

also when i go through the vhs menu i think its called (where you press the select button brings up another menu.)
iver got several other flash drives... some are empty.. could i possibly use those for the gameboot?

No you cannot use the other flash drives for your gameboot(i'm pretty sure)

And idk why but the flash0 drive doesn't have much space on it at all, which is really frustrating I know, but sometimes we have to deal with it.

And don't delete anything on your flash0, always put files in and select the replace option, if you delete some it will brick/semi-brick your psp

    Are you new?

You can pretty much use any gameboot.pmf you find. It's just a video file.

Yes you can delete the camera plugin RCOs. You can also delete the lftv RCOs. Those are the Location Free TV RCOs. Don't forget about the PRXs too. You can delete those as well. Just make sure you backup flash0 so if you do encounter a semi, nothing to worry about.

i would gladly replace the "existing" gameboot.pmf file... if it was there lol.. but its not so ... I just went through all the files and found a bunch of crap that the previous owner had on there. photos.. So I just removed those and had enough space for the gameboot. Also.. what could the other flash drives before? Could i just put stuff on there for now for the hell of it?

You mis-understand, he wanted to use his flash1,2,3 for his gameboot.

I didn't say that he couldn't use another gameboot.

And I figured you shouldn't delete any of the flash0, therefore losing some things, or bricking/semi-bricking your psp.

And, No, I'm not new -.-

First off, this doesn't make sense. Other flash drives for your gameboot? huh? Second, if you mean what I think you mean, then you're wrong, you can use other people gameboots. If I'm wrong, what are you trying to say?

Also, where do you see flash 1,2,3 in the original post?

He means by other flash "drives" aka there is flash0,1,2,3.

And I'm sure you can't use those for gameboots.

It's pretty obvious that's what he means..

    Ugh here let me elaborate.

On the psp there are 4 flash "drives" that the psp has.

Flash0 is the most common one, that allows the use of custom themes, and that is what puts the psp "together"

Flash1 is... well I'm not sure, butttt when you use a pandora battery and magic memory stick together one of the steps is "Formatting Flash1"

Flash2 is... well I don't know about that either, it's just an option I saw on the m33 menu

Flash3 is... the same as above.

If your on m33 firmware, hit Select and change the USB Mode over and you'll see the other flash "drives"

TurboLX, it's fine you're asking questions, you and Bewood were just wording things strangely.

dunno how its strang :P just curious if it was possible to use the other flash drives if there was no space on the flash 0 drive for the gameboott. But I removed the radio shack plugs in and camera plugings. everyhing is working perfectly. so i freed up some spae and was able to upload the gameboot file.
btw is there a way to create pmf files?

Most people just say flash0, flash1, etc. Flash drive just sounds too much like, well, flash drives.
