10-31-2008, 06:50 PM I just prefer it all round. Lighter, smaller, way better dpad. People always say they like the phat if they have big hands, which I do, but still love my slim way more. If you can get a star wars one (white) or daxter one (silver) those for sure are moddable.. but if its from a pawn shop its not likely going to be the very newest model anyway, so you'll likely be fine

I soon realized it was there and I thought I broke it.
With my phat it's like a rock in my pocket, I'm not forgetting.
But I love my phat with or without the weight, just the overall feel.
Turn it on and check the firmware version.
Anything over 4.00 is fine.
10-31-2008, 06:57 PM That sucks about your slim. I already have a cfw so i was going to softmod a battery to CFW the slim. But isnt the TA-088 V3 the board that cant be pandora'd? Why would it matter if you were on 4.00 or over if its OFW?
