Thats your opinion, I have cfw for iso and cso, Most homebrew games suck balls to me. PSN is a success without psp. Even if there was stuff available for download on psn, Im still not going to pay for it.

Debate: Would PSP have less piracy and homebrew community issues if they supported the Homebrew Community?
I say yes, and I have my reasons. Ever since the new PSN we've had less problems with getting stuff on our memory cards, and instead of having to rip the ISO of the UMD you can just pay and download it straight from the new store. Piracy has been on the decline, not just because of the new software and motherboards. There is an easier, paid alternative to having everything on one memory card.
However, Homebrew is something we all enjoy. PSP would have a lot less conflucts with new custom firmware if they actually supported consumer made programs and games for the PSP. They could enforce limitations, create their own website for homebrew, and then custom firmware would fade into the background. Custom Firmware, with its ability to play ISOs and CSOs makes it easy for pirates to download and steal a game with little to no problems.
Support homebrew Sony, then custom firmware can stop and PSN will be a sucess.
Just my little two cents on it since they spend so much time trying to stop piracy while killing the purpose of custom firmware in the first place: homebrew.

i almost agree with that muffin, except we need isos and cso support so we arent lugging around 50 umds everywhere we go.its called playstation portable for a reason.truth of the matter is pirating will never stop.its not dark alexes fault however, but people that would rather not do the moral thing.piratings been going on ever since the dawn of time, yet companies still survive because of the fact that not everyone is unmoral and unjust.
games are pirated, but games are still being ordered by sony and game developers still get their royalties cause of it.sony makes up for the loss in psp hardware sales due to people being able to mod their system to their liking.sonys even mentioned this before.for the people buying psp3000 that cant be modded yet.this is where sony is losing money until it can be modded, cause i doubt many of the new systems are being sold cause of this
Yep, but then they would still have shitty game sales and nothing to blame it on. The least of the things I do on my PSP is play PSP games. In order I use it for these things.. GPS, Watchign TV shows, SNES, NES, PSX, PSP.
she said somehting about Sony SUPPORTING homebrew games. they could help the homebrew to make it better and enjoyable... but idk how that could work out. and sony would be better if they let the PSP be open source..
oh.. and i preffer some homebrew over just plain psp games..
lol thecoo1est!! nice avatar

Maybe, but they will never do it because they will just lose more money lol.

Get back on topic.

Yeah but most PSP games,I spent money on sucked and were not even worth buying or paying for.I really dont play the PSP games that much I just like the emus, music, videos, homebrew, etc app stuff.
As for ISO's and CSO's its to late its really easy to get them and play them.
Most people will not go out of their way in this recession to pay for games off a online store when they have the chance to simply download them for free.

I think it would help if they supported homebrew, but it wouldn't be enough to turn the tide on piracy.
Too many people use CFW to download full retail games for free for Sony supported homebrew to put a dent in.
well i agree that there could be less
but i think it would be minimal
as i don't believe most people mod for homebrew
